Blend more abrupt irregularities with a green Jiffy Coarse polisher, follow with a yellow Jiffy Medium polisher to smooth minor irregularities, and finish with a white Jiffy Fine or a blue Jiffy HiShine for a smooth finish.
A lubricant such as Ultracare facilitates superior finishing and prevents entangling of the rubber dam during finishing.

DeOx is a viscous, glycerine-based gel designed to prevent formation of an oxygen inhibition layer on the surface of resin materials when they are polymerized.
Veneer containing luting resin is placed. Before curing, excess resin is removed from the margin. DeOx is coated over the margins as shown here.
Result: No oxygen inhibition on margin of luting resin surface upon polymerization, no ditching at margin.

HiSite is an opaque, aqua-colored pigment in an alcohol carrier, used to indicate contact interference and is moderately water soluble for convenient removal. Syringe contains a mixing ball for handy pigment mixing prior to application. Syringe/tip delivery ensures uniform application. It applies in a thin layer and dries quickly.
Insert prosthesis to determine contact interference with adjacent tooth.
Adjust proximal contact to desired location and size.

PermaSeal composite sealer is a light cured, methacrylate-based, unfilled resin. Its low viscosity allows excellent penetration, and the ultra-thin layer minimizes the need for occlusal adjustment.
USES
PermaSeal seals voids and irregularities created during the polishing process, minimizing staining and wear. Place on Class V composite margins to reduce microleakage.2,3 For the final glaze type finish of resin provisionals, cover PermaSeal with DeOx prior to light curing. PermaSeal bonds well to composite-type provisional restorations and can be used to vitalize old composites as well.
Smooth the provisional surface. Brush PermaSeal into surfaces, gently air thin, coat with DeOx and light cure for 20 seconds.
New Restorations
Before: Interproximal spaces and slight rotations to be corrected with Peak LC Bond and composite. Air thin and light cure for 20 seconds.
After restoring and polishing are complete, etch 5 seconds and apply PermaSeal to seal composite and create a glossy finish.
Existing Restorations
Always clean existing composite restorations and adjacent enamel using Consepsis Scrub, pumice or a microetcher. Rinse and then etch 15 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
