Opalustre is a 6.6% hydrochloric acid slurry that contains silicon carbide micro-particles. This combination provides chemical stain removal along with gentle mechanical abrasion. OpalCups latch-type bristle polishing cups are used with the Opalustre microabrasion technique to facilitate a more aggressive action and minimize splatter. OpalCups finishing cups are used with Opalustre for micro polishing the newly treated enamel surface. Both types of OpalCups are autoclavable through a limited number of cycles.

1. Pour impression with fast set plaster or dental stone. Alginate must be poured shortly after making impression to ensure accuracy. Trimming is less work if quantity of stone is kept to a minimum

2. Monitor patient results with the shade guide card. Keep one for patient records and send one home with the patient.

3. For reservoir spaces, apply LC Block-Out approximately 0.5mm thick onto the labial surfaces. Stay about 1.5mm from gingival line. Do not extend onto incisal edges and occlusal surfaces.

4. With vacuum former, heat tray material (Sof-Tray Classic Sheets) until it sags approximately 1 inch. Adapt plastic over mold. Cool and remove model.

Uses:

Opalescence PF is indicated when pacients have tooth sesitivity history.It's recommended to be get before composite restauration or veeners,porcelain etc..It can be used by it self or combinated with other products of this line like opalescence Quick 45 % or Opalescence Boost.

5. Use Ultra-Trim scalloping scissors to precisely trim tray 0.25 to 0.33mm occlusal from gingival margin

6. Return tray to model; check tray extensions. Gently flame polish edges, one quadrant at a time.

7. Load the tray by expressing one continuous bead of gel approximately half way up from the incisal edge on the facial side of the tray from molar to molar. This should use about 1/2 to 1/3 of a syringe
